2008 WORLD CONFERENCE

9th - 24th September 2008

Organisers are now planning the 2008 World Conference to be held in Australia.

We invite you all to our Red Ruby Beef Tour and Conference to be held in New South Wales, Australia from the 9th - 24th September, 2008, with the option before or after this date to visit more devon breeders in other states.

Besides the cattle and their owners we will have the opportunity to show you places of interest which will give you an insight into how we live here in Australia. 

Our tour begins in Sydney where we will collect everyone and then we will  we travel to the wine growing area of the Hunter Valley north of Sydney with a dinner to welcome everybody and the opportunity to taste for some of you some fine wine. Of course, beer is always on tap!

The next day begins two weeks of visiting Devon cattle properties and experiencing the Aussie hospitality. Throughout the state we are looking forward to your visit and along the way there will be opportunity to see our art and crafts.

Start planning to be part of this tour where our Devon family is unique. We are small enough to know everybody, and  friendships through the cattle are made from all over the world. This event is also a wonderful opportunity for our younger members to meet with one another and there will be ample opportunity to discuss the merits and future of the breed.
